Why don't people dress well anymore?
Whether it is because they can get caught dressed poorly with ease now, or whether people don't care as much about how they look, the result is the same. Most people on average do not dress as well as people have in the past.
With the Vietnam War, and with the hippy movement causing a general societal rebellion mentality, people went against many traditional things and values. Whether that was dressing well, or whatever else.
